Known for her persistence and determination to conquer any challenge, Ms. T.R. meets the future with peace, gratitude, and a heart full of cherished memories. Raised alongside seven siblings—five sisters and two brothers—she fondly recalls her childhood spent playing "boys' games" like climbing trees and shooting marbles with her brothers. Ms. T.R. reflects warmly on two happy marriages: 44 years with her first husband, a fun-loving travel enthusiast who affectionately nicknamed her "Go-Go" for her love of adventure, and four and a half years with her second husband, a devoted church deacon. Now living comfortably in an independent and assisted living community in Glen Allen, Virginia, where she stays close to her daughter, Ms. T.R. defines home as a safe, warm space to be oneself.
