All 'Us Used To Be Together
Originally from a family of 15 children from New Orleans, Ms. M. recalls early memories of living on a farm and being happiest when working together with her family. Later moving to Richmond—where she lived in places like Duvall Street and Whitcomb Court—she spent part of her adult life working hard at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV). Ms. M. emphasizes a central truth about how she raised her family and navigated life: doing the absolute best she could for her children. She now lives in Richmond with her daughter.
