Life is Just Wonderful
99-year-old Ms. R. says she is defined by family, service, and continuous motion. Raised primarily in Virginia, Ms. R. lived for 23 years in Florida following her husband's passing, where she learned to tap dance, took up clogging, put on shows and cared for neighbors. Having recently relocated back to Virginia to live in a senior community alongside her 95-year-old brother, she remains the life of the party: bringing water to fellow residents, participating in outings, and regularly breaking into dance when music plays. For Ms. R., "home" is all about family and friends, and a place to dance and make mischief.
